Chubb Fire Systems, part of the Carrier global group of businesses, is currently recruiting for a Regional Project Manager covering projects across the North West, Midlands and Wales, although other areas may be included depending on project requirements.

In this role you will have overall responsibility for the planning and delivery of Fire Systems Projects, across a range of Fire Detection & Suppression products. You will lead the Project Team in delivering the projects to a high standard on time and within budget.

What will I be doing as a Regional Project Manager?

Manage all aspects of large projects, working closely with and managing the delivery team to mitigate any risk
Ensure Company policies are followed, and quality assurance reviews are conducted for all projects
Manages the strategic aspects of large projects, working closely with the project team to mitigate any risk
Consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, utilization, etc. across the business sector to ensure that all business KPI's are met or exceeded
Ensure full 'cost to complete' reviews are completed on a monthly basis for all projects
Conduct reviews of resource requirements to ensure project needs are met, whilst ensuring operational efficiencies are achieved
Act as key point of contact for the customer on the project, provide project reports, and lead project meetings, managing relationships so that strong positive customer relationships are maintained.
Ensures Company policies are followed, and quality assurance reviews/procedures take place for all projects
Ongoing reviews of resource requirements to ensure project needs are met, whilst ensuring operational efficiencies are achieved
Provide monthly / ad hoc reports internally and externally
Manages scope and mitigates/minimizes risk across projects

To be successful in this role you will:

Be a strategic leader who manages people, driving operational and commercial excellence, innovation, ownership and team motivation
Experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project delivery, process development and delivery
Take full P&L responsibility of business sector responsible for managing budgeted costs and maximizing profit and revenue expectations
Proven experience of successful project management within London Construction, ideally with an electrical or Fire Alarm background
Technical knowledge of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems is desirable
Sound understanding of Building Contracts including JCT and NEC forms of contract and procedures
Strong communication and influencing skills
Be qualified to SSTS / SMSTS
Evidence of successful operations management and specifically business process improvement
Proven, successful leadership, with a track record of delivery through others
Recognised qualification in a relevant discipline – minimum HNC and / or membership of a relevant professional body e.g. Incorporated / Chartered
Temporary works formal training

IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
UK Full Driving Licence
