Our client is a household name in a fast moving sector, working within an ever changing environment. Based in Glasgow, this business offers an opportunity to be continuously challenged and gives the successful candidate the platform to make a difference. The organisation is growing and this interim role has been brought around due to a recent acquisition.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of HR, the main responsibility of the HR Business Partner will be project based focusing on an incoming TUPE transfer. The main focus will be on consultation with incoming employees and their trade union representatives and ensuring the seamless onboarding and integration of all employees. Additionally, relationship building across the businesses (multi–site) is essential as is ensuring that the HR strategy is adhered to. Working in a hands on operational role, you will have a busy and varied workload, so there's a need for the successful candidate to be able to work at pace, ensuring timely delivery within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Managing all elements of the incoming TUPE transfer project (from start to finish)
Trade Union experience
Understanding of Collective Agreements
Travelling to the businesses multi–sites to build relationships (when government guidelines allow)
Partnering with key stakeholders in the business to provide HR generalist support through the company's journey of transformation
Instrumental in supporting the company culture Key Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate for this role will have a broad range of HR generalist experience, however it is essential to have previous experience managing an incoming TUPE transfer in a blue collar and unionised environment and experience of collective agreements. Up to date employment law knowledge is also essential. You will be comfortable working at a tactical level and have the following skillset;
