My client is a successful SME company based in Fife that has enjoyed continuous growth with further development planned for the future. To support this, they are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company finances, whilst reviewing and streamlining processes and procedures and work closely with the Management Team to provide financial support and guidance on business operations and commercial decisions.
Responsibilities will include:
Supplier account reconciliation
Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
VAT and tax returns
Processing monthly payroll
Processing expenses
Processing payments
Prepare monthly management accounts
Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet
Production of group consolidated statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
Monitoring of cashflow and cashflow forecasting
Consolidated balance sheet reconciliations
Supervision of a small finance team
Ongoing process improvements and implementation
To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following experience:
Fully qualified ACCA/COMA/CA accountant
Experience of working within a small and growing company, company acquisition experience would be beneficial
Confident IT skills ideally including Sage 50
Comfortable working in a varied, hands–on and operational finance role, supporting with a variety of duties to support the overall growth of the business
