Description
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
The development and continued evolution of the procurement strategy across the UK and Europe considering Total Value rather than short term price lists
Lead and develop a successful procurement team
Develop a clear, agile and controlled purchase to pay (PTP) process with the appropriate high standards
Communicate visually and widely to the business to provide alignment and curiosity
Establish a repeatable and scalable European procurement approach, blending insourced and outsourced resource
Align procurement to the changing business strategy
Leverage systems to enable the purchasing journey to be effortless and to enable adherence to PTP approach
Identify opportunities to deliver total value savings (avoidance, absolute saving) across the procurement teams and create a value conscious organisation culture.Profile
The successful candidate will possess;
Excellent stakeholder management
Demonstrable background in developing European procurement strategies
Experience of automating tools and ability to systematise and automate
Ability to distil functional and business information into critical and visual output that can be understood by a variety of senior leaders
Demonstrable track record of cost savings across various indirect categories
Demonstrable track record in developing successful teams
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
CIPS/MCIPS is preferable Job Offer
