Project Manager omnichannel, eCommerce, PIM, business analysis skills useful - Retail experience essential

psd are currently looking for a seasoned Project Manager with experience of eCommerce projects, omnichannel processes, and PIM (product information management) projects, within the retail sector. This role is working for a small to medium size retail client.

The individual will be working within a smaller retailer and will need to be a very hands-on individual who can role up their sleeves to deliver a range of pieces of project related work. The role would suit someone who can get their hands dirty - they will also need to be happy doing some BA type work eg. USER stories but will also be working as a PM deliver projects eg. Web/ecommerce improvements partnering with a supplier. They will be responsible for running the project to select a PIM for the organization.

The role needs someone who has a good understanding of omnichannel retail as they will have lots of interaction with stores and store staff to understand and identify processes and technical changes that can support the business s shift to omnichannel retailing.

The initial priority in the role will be implementing a PIM (a solution which will support product information for about 8000 SKUS), supporting web development, supporting business model changes required for E-commerce excellence and transitioning to an omnichannel model over the next couple of years

Essential experience

  • Extensive project management experience within the retail sector related to E-commerce and omnichannel retailing
  • Project Management experience of at least one PIM (product information management) project
  • A knowledge of the process, technological and store level changes required to support an omnichannel retailing strategy
  • An ability to do some requirements gathering, USER stories, Business Analysis type work
  • Full lifecycle project experience including defining requirements, selecting and implementing solutions along with 3rd parties
  • Delivery of operating model changes eg, defining people and process changes
  • Ability to coach colleagues on project management best practice
