Job Description of a Commercial Director
The overall responsibility for development, performance and maintenance of all commercial activities of the business.
To obtain maximum profitability for the organization by developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing business and ensures full utilization of all company assets.
Perform negotiation of new contracts, attend relevant conferences and develop strategic short/medium term plans to achieve agreed targets
Work with external companies to pro–actively promote the business through social media forums
Skills & experience of a Commercial Director
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role at a senior level, have consistently delivered high value sales and marketing business plan within technical disciplines such as Bio–chemical engineering, R&D,, testing and measurement, product design and manufacture.
It will be highly desirable that the post holder will have an understanding and interpretation CAD drawings CAM systems, chemical processing and basic electrical knowledge.
Must be self–motivated, highly driven and ambitious, have that real entrepreneurial flair.
