In-House Commercial Solicitor (Maternity Cover)

Our client, a large, international company, is seeking an assured Commercial solicitor to provide maternity cover for one of their Leeds team's commercial solicitor . Our client would be interested in speaking with those commercial solicitors with between 2-4 years' experience - either within private practice or industry.

This would be an unique opportunity for anyone with demonstrable high-quality commercial experience to temporarily join an exciting, high-quality team of in-house lawyers. Specific experience must include: general commercial contracts, outsourcing transactions and data protection. This will involve working closely with senior colleagues across the business. The volume and complexity of contracts which they handle and the dynamic nature of their business means this will be an exciting and rewarding role.

The successful candidate will be expected to act as an expert on commercial contracts, providing advice and support to the business in drafting and negotiating agreements with customers and strategic partners, in order to achieve agreed business outcomes and ensure compliance with all applicable law and regulation, including the business's own policies, guidance and procedures.
