Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment are working with an internationally recognised name who are looking to expand their Regulatory & Policy team with the addition of another Solicitor
This is a newly created 12 month FTC opportunity owing to a major project being undertaken by the busines. You will work closely with and support the Head of Department in providing Legal services and Regulatory Governance to a number of stakeholder groups, maintain professional standards in relation to conduct and licensing, and assist with the interpretation and development of regulatory law. The role will also include liaison with supervisory bodies including the SRA to ensure ongoing compliance and development of future business growth opportunities
Ideally you will have experience as a solicitor in Private Practice, In-House, or a Regulatory body. An awareness of policy making decisions and understanding of the legislative decision making processes is beneficial. You will be technically strong solicitor who is able to demonstrate relationship building at a senior level in order to achieve strategic aims.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in-house with an illustrious and well established institution, offering you exposure to a wide variety of legal and regulatory work, working for a leading name in the sector.. It is hoped that the role will become permanent in the future, although this can't be guaranteed at this moment.
