Do leadership, strategy and passion for sales run through your veins? If so, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for an experienced sales leader to join our growing team and make a big impact from day one!

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Sales to join our team based in Westminster. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of GBP70,000 + OTE per annum.

About the Head of Sales role:

As Head of Sales you will be responsible for the operational leadership of the sales function, ensuring we deliver scheme strategies and smash our ambitious off–plan sales targets. As a decisive and inspirational leader, you'll already be adept at mentoring, coaching and empowering teams and individuals to achieve their true potential.

You don't find complex and challenging projects daunting – they excite you! At Peabody you'll lead on developing strategies for major regeneration and joint venture projects.

You'll be comfortable with building relationships at a senior level and accustomed to influencing others. As a key part of the Sales & Marketing Senior Management Team, you will influence the strategic direction of the department and regularly report on strategy effectiveness.

Most importantly, your work will make a difference to people's lives, helping our customers realise their home ownership aspirations.

Responsibilities of our Head of Sales will include:

– To develop and implement Peabody's early sales strategy (off plan sales strategy) to support the ambition of achieving 80% sales off plan across all tenures.

– Deliver and report on value for money through budgetary monitoring and control whilst delivering effective sales strategies.

– Work with the Head of Campaign Marketing to ensure that all new build developments have a documented Sales & Marketing strategy with appropriate marketing assets and collateral to ensure successful sales within business plan targets while achieving value for money.

– Work with the Sales Operations Manager to manage the Help to Buy forecasting, allocation and administration. Ensuring that deadlines are met and Peabody is operating in line with our contract with Homes England.

– Lead on the creation and implementation of sales strategies for multi– phased schemes which mitigate against the risks of market saturation whilst still achieving agreed sales rates.

– In collaboration with the Head of Residential Research, ensure full compliance with affordability and eligibility criteria meeting capital funding guidelines and those from other governing bodies.

– Ensure that the team retain the correct paperwork to meet audit requirements and ensure information is complete and regular audit checks are completed.

– Develop and maintain a wide network of contacts in Peabody's operating areas and strategic target areas. Form positive and constructive relationships with local authorities and other public bodies and be able to demonstrate Peabody's commitment to our S106 and contractual requirements.

What we're looking for in our Head of Sales:

– Substantial experience of leading and managing a multi–disciplinary department, with excellent communication skills, that generates confidence and respect with a wide variety of audiences

– Excellent communication skills; proven record of preparing and delivering persuasive, high quality, written and verbal reports and presentations within the organisation up to Executive and committee level and externally

– Proven track record of building and managing effective relationships with Leaders, peers, colleagues, partners and stakeholders

– Proven experience of successfully leading, managing and coaching employees and supporting them through times of change

– Proven track record of developing and leading on change management programmes through employee engagement, involvement and collaboration

– Proven ability to collaborate with leaders, work cross–functionally with diverse groups

– Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of budget management, planning and proven experience of leading on risk management

– A commitment to continuing professional development

– Effective, networking, negotiation and influencing and stakeholder management skills
