My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North–Eastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner.
Location: Warwick Duration: 6–8 months
Responsibilities
Ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness of actuals and relevant interim and year end disclosures
Co–ordinating and preparing key financial inputs for Financial Reporting Meetings
Co–ordinating and preparing key financial inputs for entity/ functional requirements
Providing financial analysis, preparation and delivery of quarterly rolling forecasts
Providing first level analysis and review of financial reports
Prepare insightful narrative on key financial reports and Entity/ Functional reports
Managing all entity/ functional level financial reporting
Build strong relationships across finance and the entity to ensure ensure financial deliverables and timescales are agreed and adhered to
Managing high quality inputs to the regulatory reporting pack and ensure smooth integration of deliverables into business submissions
Responsible for executing appropriate financial controls, including SOX controls.
Work with the wider finance and business services teams in the investigation and resolution of issues
Skills & Experience Required
Reporting financial information – Skilled
Accounting and reporting pronouncements – Advanced
Governance, risk and internal control frameworks – Advanced
Control framework assessment and assurance – Advanced
Financial modelling – Advanced
Planning, forecasting and budgeting – Advanced
Transaction and close process management – Advanced
Financial risk management – Skilled
