IT Programme Manager (6 months FTC)

Reference Number DR/IT/ITPM/11/20 Location Hatfield Contract Type Contract Full–Time Closing Date 29/11/2020 We are looking for an IT Programme Manager on an initial 6 months fixed–term contract basis to cover maternity leave. The IT Programme team is responsible for managing all aspects of delivery, through defined programmes and projects, to make a positive change in the way we operate as a business,, from the initial evaluation of the business case to embedding change in to business as usual processes and practice. This includes securing the funding and resources, contracting third parties, introducing new business processes, facilitating organisational change, delivering solution components such as new systems and technical infrastructure, facilitating governance, and managing internal & external stakeholders to ensure delivery in a timely manner. During the fixed–term contract, you will be driving delivery of a programme of significant strategic importance, our Customer Experience Improvement Programme. This programme is delivering a number of complex projects and initiatives to realise benefits, deliver against our performance commitments, and ensure we increase our CMex scores through improving service delivery and customer experience, and introducing more effective and efficient ways of working for our colleagues. This will range from how individuals interact with the business and customers to making sure that our field–based staff have all the right information at the right time on their devices to deliver a great customer experience. You will therefore ideally have experience of working in a regulated environment and have retail industry experience.
