Inside IR35 (will be required to use an Umbrella Company)

GBP300 per day

3 month contract

South London (based on site, across 2 locations)

We are working with a NHS Trust based in London on a Head of Information Governance role on a 3 month contract basis. The successful candidate will provide expert knowledge of Information Governance, help to prioritise and manage a significant backlog of work and provide leadership to the team. The Head of Information Governance will be fully conversant with Information Governance related policy and legislation including within an NHS environment such as GDPR, Caldicott, Freedom of Information and records management.

To be considered we are looking for:

• Extensive experience in a similar Senior Information Governance role
• Proven NHS background
• Excellent leadership skills
• Information Governance or Information Security Qualification such as ISO27001 Internal Auditor, CISSP
• Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 Practitioner desirable
• Proven experience writing and implementing Information Governance Policies and Procedures within an NHS organisation
• Prior experience completing the NHS Data Protection and Security or NHS Information Governance toolkit
• Highly knowledgeable on GDPR, DPA 2018, Freedom of Information Act, PECR and Health and Social Care laws relating to the sharing of personal information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to establish and build strong working relationships
