Our client is an established consultancy in the UK Water Sector. They currently have several contract vacancies for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to work on delivery projects in their Reading and London office for Amp 7.

Role:

Deliver a project or low number of projects with high complexity
Accountable for delivery of timely and accurate data collection, analysis and reports
Responsible for delivering work in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory and planning controls, and will have significant technical knowledge and experience Accountabilities:
Responsible for interpreting and communicating project support policies, processes and systems
Responsible for communicating and highlighting project process compliance issues to project managers
Lead the performance management of project team / resource
Roles at this level will manage and/or deliver programmes of work to meet defined objectives
Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets
Present any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted, and ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standardsExperience:

Waste water projects delivering infrastructure (pipeline) projects
Clean Water distribution networks and Clean Water Treatment & pumping stations
Waste water treatment & pumping stations.Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering discipline within the company.
Provide Project Definition Briefs.
Ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
Provide sign off for technical delivery.
Support the establishment of a sustainable engineering structure from graduate to industry experts that lead engineering requirements into AMP 7 and beyond.Requirements:

Degree level (Civil / Structural/ Mechanical) or equivalent in an engineering discipline and with professional Chartership.
A recognised leader in your engineering discipline including process and analytical instrumentation and possibly electronic security systems likely with extensive experience including a significant amount in the water industry.
Understanding of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with our engineering regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills both internally and externally.
Collaborate and ability to influence senior colleagues.
