Position: Chief Project Manager
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: GBP80,000 to GBP100,000 + Excellent Benefits / Prospects (including Relocation Assistance)

The Company: Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate Company that manufactures minimal invasive next–generation robotic–assisted medical devices that are at the forefront of how surgical procedures are carried out. An award–winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of millions of patients all around the world.
Due to sustained continued expansion they now require a driven Chief Project Manager who will have overall responsibility for project delivery within the Technology function. The Technology function is responsible for the continued development of current and new products. You'll be at the centre of an exciting and fast–growing business and will work closely with the manufacturing teams and product development.
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Review progress of projects and programmes, resolving challenges around resourcing and scheduling
* Work across the business to understand and satisfy the needs of stakeholders in other business functions
* Ensure all Technology projects are effectively planned, managed, and delivered to the required specification or needs of the department by the agreed deadlines
* Define and manage the necessary project management tool(s) and processes to enable easy collaboration and communication between project stakeholders
* Lead a group of Project Managers, providing the appropriate guidance and support in the form of coaching and mentoring
* Define the processes and metrics to track and report project progress with a focus on budget, scope, resources, and schedule
The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:
* A Degree in Engineering (any discipline) or very relevant experience.
* Proven experience leading and managing a team or group of Project Managers
* Recognised Project management Qualification (Prince2, Primavera etc???)
* Experience of working within Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Life Science Industry etc.
* Knowledge of GMP and Regulatory requirements for medical industry
The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of between GBP80,000 to GBP100,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits / Prospects (including Relocation Assistance) plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
