Financial Accountant Role in Global Business Up to £60,000p/a and Benefits
Your new company
A large organisation near Ely is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their growing Finance team until Dec 2021. This organisation has a vast network of established relationships in their field and have production facilities across the world.
Your new role
As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for; completing monthly accounts in line with changing timelines. Producing board papers, balance sheet reconciliations and managing year-end financials in line with group reporting requirements and audit schedules. You will be managing a small team of 2 direct reports and will be expected to assist in their development. The Financial Accountant position will require consistent review and improvement of processes and systems efficiency. The role will be varied and you will be assisting and advising on ad-hoc projects and providing support for other finance functions within the business where needed.
This is an exciting and varied role for a qualified finance professional looking for a role which will offer them a challenge and an opportunity to be a senior figure within a small team in a large organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you as the Financial Accountant will need to be a qualified or close to completing a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification. You will ideally have experience in the FMCG/ Food Sector and have experience and understanding of the impact of Brexit on an international business. The ideal candidate would have experience working as part of a group reporting function. You must have exceptional Excel ability and be very proficient in picking up systems quickly, having used JDE is preferable but not essential.
