Seven Social Care is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to fill an exclusive opportunity managing the Test and Trace Programme in Cambridgeshire.

The role:

To provide project management support for all local Test and Trace activity within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The role will be required to develop large County wide processes, coordinating numerous workstreams of activity, and lead on the logistical arrangements for all Test and Trace activity. The post holder must be happy to coordinate and direct the programme, but also to help deliver the programme outcomes and undertake operational work as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

To be responsible for coordinating all test and trace activity under one programme from inception, to implementation and completion. Numerous workstreams are already in place, but require coordinating to remove duplication, progress with actions, and respond rapidly to changes in national test and trace activity.
Utilise appropriate programme management tools and experience in order to effectively programme manage the vast range of activity, ensuring the coordination , sequencing and cross cutting issues are considered and managed well and ensuring an appropriate level of oversight of the programme risks, issues and progress is maintained.
Be responsible for providing challenge and holding others to account, seeking ways to remove barriers to delivery and influencing decisions to support the programme objectives.
Provide regular reporting, including analysis and evaluation of progress and the current and future status on the programme and respective projects to the respective management and political functions.
Develop and maintain momentum for this major programme, gaining buy in from Senior Leaders, Politicians and the wider organisation to ensure the implementation of the programme moves at pace. Including but not limited to; potential attendance at Joint Management Team (JMT) and Public Health management teams to provide updates and gain agreement of key decisions.
To be responsible for keeping abreast of changes in national test and trace initiatives, to ensure that proactive planning and process are in place to allow a swift adoption of any responsibility for the Council.
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in an appropriate discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience.
Experience:
Demonstrable experience of successfully leading complex programmes
Experienced in pulling together plans and strategies to ensure delivery.
Experience of working across sectors and forming strong relationships.
Experience of the logistics required to deliver service at pace and at high volume
Compliance: Right to work and References
Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours: 37 hours p/w.
