Job title: Head of Finance
Reporting to: CFO
Salary: GBP100k – GBP110k + Discretionary Bonus
Our client is a multinational Mining and Manufacturing company and they are looking for a new Head of Finance. Partnering closely with the board and regional Finance Managers across Africa. You will be responsible for all day–to–day financial and commercial management. This role requires frequent travel to Africa (Approx. 1 week a month).
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Mining/Manufacturing sector and have a background in leading overseas finance teams (Ideally in Africa), but also has an eye on the future of the business from a numbers perspective, be a visionary and a challenger to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
* Full ownership of the finance function including Statutory Reporting, Tax, and Treasury.
* Business partnering with senior stakeholders to continue the success of the brand
* Leading on appraisals and analysis surrounding performance and profitability
* Delivering top and bottom–line financial results
* Oversight of company–wide KPI's and performance
* Managing the companies budgets
* Creating extensive rolling forecasting models
* Investigating new business opportunities and liaising with potential investors
* Oversight of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting function
* Implementing and maintaining first–class systems and controls
Desired Skills and Experience:
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified (10+ years PQE)
* Hindu is beneficial
* Prior Mining or Manufacturing experience is essential
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Previous experience in managing and developing staff
* Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
* Ability to work in a fast–paced and dynamic environment
