Dartmouth have been retained by an investor-backedFintechbusiness to identify a Finance Director to help bolster their finance function. The company, widely known for their flagship product in the UK have grown at significant pace domestically for the past few years whilst remaining profitable. To continue their aggressive trajectory, the company have recently expanded into several countries in Europe with wider ambitions to become a truly global business in the next few years.
To achieve this, the business are looking to recruit a solid finance lead that will be able to deputize for the CFO on all finance matters and can partner with the various stakeholders within the business. The role will combine a hands-on element, particularly with regard to developing systems, processes and controls, with a more strategic and commercial outward facing role.

Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the financial and commercial functions across the group
- Partner with the CEO & CFO to bring the strategic vision of the business to life
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting andcashflowglobally
- Cultivating stakeholder relationships internally and externally
- Take an active role in developing and driving the strategic focus of the organisation
- Review and monitoring of Group statutory accounts & tax position, calculations and filings
- Develop, lead and grow finance functions in multiple jurisdictions
- Lead on all aspects of accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
- Ensure that all the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
- Assisting with key acquisitions and disposals across the group
- Monitor banking activities of the organisation
- Significant Experience working within investor backed businesses
- Experience leading a finance function within an international company
- Experience working within a technology or fintech business
- Chartered Accountant or similar qualification
- Extensive experience in developing relationships with demanding stakeholders
