THE COMPANY:
Brewster Partners are working with a specialist electronic manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Divisional Director who will manage the technical team on site and act as the main point of contact for theircustomers.
Supplying to a niche sector, the SME manufacturer are looking for someone with a background in electronic and software manufacturing.
THE JOB:
The Divisional Director will report into the board of Directors and manage a small and experienced multi–disciplined and highly respected team of qualified engineers whose expertise covers electronic, software, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
The dedicated term work closely with clients to design and build products to meet their needs and run through a full research and prototype process in their Leeds site.
Alongside strong management/leaderships skills and a good knowledge of electronic and software manufacturing, the chosen candidate will need excellent commercial skills and experience as they will have extensive contact with current and new customers.
THE PERSON:
The business are looking for someone with a strong technical background of electronic/software manufacturing and excellent commercial skills.
You'll need to be a strong leader who can motivate and manage a team of multi–discipline engineers but also used to regularly interacting with clients at a senior level.
The Divisional Director will be the main contact for all commercial activities so experience of negotiating process, tenders and other commercial activities would be highly desirable.
