Central Employment are current looking for an Electrical Compliance PM to work for one of our Pharmaceutical clients based in Cramlington.

There is the requirement of a significant electrical compliance programme, focused on Fixed Wire Testing.

We are looking to hire an experienced and knowledgeable contract resource to manage and coordinate this effort. Position available immediately. We anticipate contract length to be a minimum of 12 months initially. This is a great opportunity to join the Cramlington Engineering team at a time of significant change and investment in the site.

Profile

* Professional electrical engineer or high–calibre electrical technician

* Experience of managing a Fixed Wire Testing programme and familiar with relevant industry norms and standards

* Self–starting: used to working with minimum supervision and management by exception

* Structured and detailed: able to make a detailed plan and deliver against it

* Excellent change management skills: used to planning and executing work in and around a complex and dynamic manufacturing environment

* Excellent communication skills, both with the shop floor staff and project stakeholders

* Flexible: able and prepared to work around production schedules to get the work done, including weekends

Initial Tasks required

* Confirm and update Panel Register

* Review Panel Naming Convention and ensure all panels are correctly identified

* Review current SLD's confirming what is correct and creating new site standard

* Create location map for all panels

* Create Individual Panel Schedules have an electronic record and paper copy within panels

* Organise preliminary testing to confirm circuits to confirm Schedules

* Update Panel drawings and schedules where necessary

* Document requirements of periodic testing programme

* Create Periodic testing programme (3 yearly for compliance to BS7671) including thermographic surveying

* Create central documentation system for all records

* Commence periodic testing programme where currently not in compliance

* Record and co–ordinate any remedial works identified during periodic testing

Ongoing Tasks

* Ensure site is up to date and in compliance with the latest Electrical testing regulations

* Identify any specific training needs for site personnel, including IFM

* Maintain Panel Register

* Ensure new panels are labelled to site standard

* Maintain site's SLD's

* Maintain location map for all panels

* Maintain Panel Schedules

* Oversee and coordinate the site's Periodic testing programme (3 yearly for compliance to BS7671)

* Maintain periodic and remedial works documentation
