Business Analyst

We are recruiting for a Business Analyst in Birmingham with our well established client. Your role will be working on one key aspect of the Customer Services & Business Support Improvement Programme, focusing on service improvements across the Waste Management Service.

As a Business Analyst you will need to have/be:

Previous experience leading investigation work to aid business strategy.
Experience within project development processes and agile methodologies.
Skilled in multiple information gathering approaches such as interviews, shadowing, workshops, etc.
Good leadership skills.
Ability to influence business and IT colleagues is key.
Driven to improve techniques and methods employed within the Business.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, inclusive of Excel.
Strong communication skills, both orally and written.Details:

Salary: GBP14.19 per hour
Working Hours: Full time
Location: Working from home with occasional travel to depots in Birmingham
Duration: Temporary – 3 months (Project Work)Role of a Business Analyst:

Responsible for providing function expertise on the Waste Services Garage, Fleet and Stores.
Identifying and evaluating options for improving business processes & systems.
Driving real transformation and structure.
Managing the delivery of the Customer Services & Business Support Improvement Programme.
Ensuring effective use of information systems.
Implementing improved outcomes, practice and efficiencies to improve the Waste Management Service across Birmingham.
Accountable for mapping the delivery, user stories, business requirements document and supporting analysis deliverables.
Leading investigation with understanding of business situations to aid business strategy.
Conducting studies, business requirements and evaluating options for improvements to IT Systems, information management practices, business procedures or organisation models.
Use of skills in multiple information gathering approaches and information modelling tools such as process models, use cases, entity relationship diagrams, etc.Benefits of working as a Business Analyst:
