Job Title: Digital Project Manager.
Location: Birmingham, Halesowen (+ in–house relocation assistance available).
Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP50,000 + benefits (inc private pension, private healthcare, free onsite gym, free daily breakfast + lunch, 26 days holiday + much more).
Digital Project Manager with Project Management (in an IT/software/digital environment), full project lifecycle (end–to–end) and bespoke software projects expertise is required by a multiple award winning, market–leading games studio based in Birmingham who are the UK's largest privately owned mobile e–gaming company! We currently have just over 300+ employees here at our Birmingham HQ with our services offered across multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet) with over 5mn+ registered customers here in the UK alone!
In this position, you will be very 'hands on' with the management of projects across the business, which will include multi–functional department teams from IT, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Call Centre teams to name but a few. These projects will include mobile applications, marketing and infrastructure projects ensuring effective inter–personal communication, planning and reporting to ensure projects are of high quality, fit for purpose and delivered on time.
This role will cover multiple projects across our 7 brands – mFortune, Pocketwin, Mr Spin and Dr Slot, Cashmo, Spin247 and Casino 2020 that will be challenging, varied and include responsibility for both on and offshore teams with regular liaison with our supporting software development teams in Bucharest. You will take a very much 'hands on' approach to the running of these projects and have the ability to tailor the selected approach on a project by project basis (Agile, Waterfall etc.).
The ideal candidate will have an excellent project management background with good commercial acumen and be able to make important business decisions and work on your own initiative. You will have the opportunity to identify improvements to current ways of working, make recommendations to senior management and implement these as and when required. As a privately owned software company, we are looking for someone who is flexible in their project management style and have experience driving project to completion, regardless of formal project methodologies.
Key skills we're looking for???
* 3+ years' experience in a Digital Project Manager role.
* Experience defining and running the full project lifecycle and project running of development projects from end–to–end. (scoping, estimation, etc)
* Excellent understanding of multiple Project Management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Prince2, Waterfall etc.)
* Ability to manage projects via varying communication methods (workshops, messaging apps, voice conferencing etc.)
* Good understanding of software development and IT related business operations (full software development lifecycle, UX/UI, Front–End facing projects etc.).
* Experience working with outsourced/international teams.
Bonus points for???
* Experience operating as a Business Analyst.
