CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER – EXCITING TECH START–UP – REMOTE

GBP70K–GBP120K plus equity (neg)

This innovative tech company is modernising sales teams around the globe through a disruptive sales management & motivation platform.

Due to their continuing success they are now looking for an ambitious Commercial Director to take the helm of the commercial functions within the business and help take the business to new levels of success.

We are looking for someone who can be both strategic and hands on. In the early stages of your role you will be sourcing and closing inbound and outbound opportunities. You will use this experience and gained knowledge to hire and lead a team of world–class commercial specialists to smash the business's ambitious growth goals over the coming years.

Your responsibilities will include:

Serving as a member of the board, reporting directly to the CEO day–to–day
Leading on the creation and execution of an informed GTM strategy (sales, marketing, and partnerships)
Identifying and staying up to date on new opportunities for expansion/growth, both internally and externally
Analysing marketing data/KPIs, managing sales pipeline, and forecasting future growth
Listening to prospects, customers, and the market at large to inform product and business decisions
Hiring and managing a world–beating commercial team (sales & marketing)
Representing the business at conferences, exhibitions and other events
Crafting and assisting with the execution of a sales–enabling marketing strategy
Establishing and maintaining new partners channels to generate additional business
Collaborating with existing partners to maximise revenue potential
Working closely with Customer Success to ensure customers have a delightful experience from first contact through to renewal
To be successful, you'll need:

Proven experience leading a commercial function(s) at a B2B SaaS start–up, coupled with direct B2B selling experience to SMB accounts
Experience of selling a tech product into the recruitment industry would be a bonus
Willingness to source and close your own deals (especially early on)
Solid understanding of sales process/methodology, pipeline management, forecasting, and delivering against agreed goals
Successful track record of creating and scaling a successful SaaS commercial team, ideally remotely
Experience operating at board–level, providing guidance and contributing ideas to aid the business in hitting its objectives
