Job Title: Operations Director – Education and Training

Location: National

Salary: GBP90,000 – GBP100,000 (dependent on experience)

Type: Full Time / Permanent

Our client has been established for over 20 years, and are looking to appoint an Operations Director to be responsible for overall strategic leadership, operations, growth, performance and quality delivery, and drive learning excellence across the group (Education, Training and Apprenticeship)

This is a key role for our client and as such requires someone with proven success of senior Executive Director level experience within a like for like role.

Duties include (not limited to)

* To work as an instrumental part of the Senior Management team; providing key knowledge, insight and leadership across the group.

* Overseeing / monitoring all training operations for our client's Education, Training and Apprenticeship departments.

* Lead and manage the departments, securing and sustaining improvements in all aspects of delivery of curriculum and quality.

* Manage, motivate and support all members within the education provision to ensure the quality, timely and effective delivery of educational programmes in–line with contractual targets and objectives.

* Implement performance improvement processes to achieve and exceed measurable targets.

* Ensure contractual compliance and quality requirements are adhered to.

* Work alongside the Director of Quality and support the implementation of Ofsted ready plans

* Generate a quality education provision that will stimulate financial growth and achieves key business objectives and financial targets.

* Responsible for business growth, developing and maximising all opportunities for our client's growth plans.

* Be instrumental in contributing to annual business planning and operations forecasting.

Essential Criteria for all candidates:

* Proven experience of working in a similar like for like role within the education and skills sector is essential

* Must have experience of maintaining complex stakeholder relationships.

* Ability to demonstrate success in innovating solutions to increase productivity and profitability

* Commercial awareness

* Excellent people management and leadership skills.

* A strong, working knowledge of Ofsted requirements.

* Experience of managing a team towards the achievement of set targets.

* Must be flexible with travel.
