As part of the Iconix Brand Group, we at Lee Cooper, a brand management company, have a brilliant career opportunity for a marketing professional to manage the marketing and product activities for the Lee Cooper brand.
You will be a solutions–focused individual who can work autonomously and will have experience working within a global or multi–region, brand licensing or franchise business.
What will this role of Head of Marketing and Product entail?
As the Head of Marketing and Product, you'll take full accountability for the management and process ownership of the brand's marketing and product activities, ensuring effective use of resources and minimising costs whilst managing the budget in line with agreed targets. You'll also lead and develop 2 direct reports, whilst creating an open and proactive culture.
Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
* Ensuring that marketing and product direction delivers ROI and contributes to maintaining or exceeding the corporate budgeted revenue figure
* Working in line with the Managing Director and commercial teams to manage and deliver the brand's marketing and product related deliverables
* Ensuring brand identity and visual brand language remains relevant / commercially viable, updating all materials as appropriate
* Working with commercial teams to utilise in–house resource to develop strong materials that demonstrate the best of Lee Cooper globally
* Developing a cost–conscious culture within the team by constantly looking for ways to improve outgoing costs, including seeking to avoid outsourcing wherever work can be done in–house
What will I need to be considered for this Head of Marketing and Product vacancy?
* Proven experience as a Head of Marketing or Senior Marketing Manager gained within a global or multi–region, brand licensing or franchise business
* Experience of managing budgets
* Excellent leadership skills to effectively develop a team
* Experience and knowledge of the Adobe suite of programmes
* Be creative and an innovative thinker
* Solutions–focused with strong problem–solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously, but also effectively in collaboration with others
* Willingness to travel across the globe as required

However, please note that due to the Covid–19 pandemic, you will predominantly be working from home on a temporary basis, with an occasional requirement to attend the office for meetings. When permitted, global travelling is part of the role.
