Your next role
Reporting to the Director of Asset Strategy & Capital Delivery, you will take accountability for leading the delivery of Affinity Waters GBP multi-million Capital Programme through effective leadership and project management.
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders across the business to ensure that the plan is communicated, understood and delivered. You will work collaboratively across the whole value chain with Asset Management, Operations and Supply Chain to outperform the Capital Programme allowance and deliver true Totex efficiencies for the business.
You will lead a team of Programme and Project Managers and provide direction and guidance on capital projects, Managing performance of the delivery team to plan, identify and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project objectives can be met.
This is a challenging, fast-moving and at times demanding role that requires effective leadership, collaboration, and engagement at all levels.
What you'll need
To be successful in this post, you will need to have a degree or post graduate qualification in an Engineering and/or Project Management Discipline. You will be a strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to create and deliver plans which align to the priorities and needs of the business. You will be able to make informed judgement through well-developed business acumen and the analysis of complex information, often completed by others.
Collaboration and stakeholder management should come naturally to you and you'll be excited to manage a credible team, deploying your communication skills and share your knowledge to motivate and empower others.
