GTS is working with a well–established manufacturing business who have an excellent reputation for product quality and importantly customer satisfaction.
The Head of Production and Quality will be required to operate strategically and operationally, ultimately ensuring the effective delivery of the company's objectives and its customer expectations.
The Head of Production and Quality will lead continuous improvement and change to drive an internal and external customer focussed, cost controlled and efficient quality assurance programme ensuring all safety and quality standards are achieved with my clients people, plant and processes.
The Head of Production and Quality will manage, coach and develop the manufacturing team whilst adding value and continuous improvements.The Head of Production and Quality will contribute and drive the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes procedures and lean transformation to aid and improve operational performance.
The Head of Production and Quality will effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimising costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are always maintained.
Demonstrable evidence of developing and maintain QMS systems to a minimum of ISO:9001
Six Sigma Green belt or equivalent
Experience in a continuous production environment.
Approachable, team focused; able to gain trust and respect from your team
Expert user of MRP/ERP systems
