A high growth life sciences business is seeking a Contract Manager with experience in a legal department of a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device company to join their growing globally-located team.
Serving as an important member of a collaborative and dynamic team, this individual will assist the company in achieving its business objectives by helping to maximize the efficiency of the legal contract negotiation and management process across the organisation. The individual will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the contracting process, policy, training and tools as well as the contract management system, drafting and negotiating contracts under supervision of attorneys in the team, and providing wider support to the contracting process.
The successful candidate will have experience customizing and implementing contract management systems to generate and track contracts. You must have strong administrative and operations skills and be a motivated and proactive team player. In addition, you must have the proven ability to operate independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Commercial Law for the company.
