Senior Finance Manager - Real Estate. OUR CLIENT is the specialist real estate investment arm of a sizeable global fund. They have now exclusively instructed us to help them identify a Senior Finance Manager to take on a 12-18 month FTC contract to support their FC and FD. They have a proven track record of delivery within the real estate sector and focus on commercial real estate and consistently source investment opportunities in the UK. As a result of continued growth and corporate activity, they require a high calibre and seasoned real estate finance professional to work alongside their senior Finance leads.

THE ROLE - will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Working alongside the Financial Director and the Financial Controller in all aspects of real estate finance.
  • Assisting with the end of year audit and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Assisting with Debt Compliance and Covenants and existing and future lending arrangements.
  • Working alongside external Tax advisors and calculating and filing of tax returns.
  • Liaising with Tax advisors.
  • Assisting with the Company internal audit and process and efficiency reviews.

THE PERSON: To apply, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of Post-Qualification experience gained within UK real estate. You will need strong accounting knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP and will possess solid knowledge and experience of UK corporation tax alongside Investment and development debt experience. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently and be flexible and personable. Investor relations experience from working within Private Equity or Venture Capital financing structures is preferred as is knowledge of Offshore Jersey companies and Limited partnerships. Direct sell side experience within mergers and acquisitions would be beneficial as would experience with development property modelling and financing. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hardworking individual to join at the Senior end of a notable Finance team within an expanding company and offers future possibilities.
