Strategic Estates & Capital Projects Manager/NHS/South East/GBP330 pd/2 year contract
An NHS client of mine is offering an exciting opportunity to an experienced estates capital project manager to join their department on a 2 year basis. The Project Manager will report to the Programme Director to provide effective management of core project activities, helping to ensure delivery on time, budget and scope.
As the Project Manager you will play an essential role in shaping a range of projects across the Strategic Estates Portfolio from conception through to delivery. Your duties will include, but not be exclusive to, the following:
Managing strategic capital projects throughout the entire delivery lifecycle
Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reporting back to the Programme boards
Timeline and budget control to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated and understood
Production of critical product plans using awareness of areas such as risks, dependencies, accountable parties, approvals
The successful candidate must have:
Formal project management qualification such as MSP, Prince 2 or APM
Previous experience within an NHS, live hospital setting
Previous experience of delivering new build/redevelopment projects through to completion
An ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs to ensure these are met
