Head of Business Improvement
Badenoch + Clark are proud to be partnering with Lewisham Homes to recruit their Head of Business Improvement. This is an exciting time to join the organisation at the start of their 3 year transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
You will build and lead a new central Business Improvement Team, who will drive and oversee the enterprise wide portfolio of change, transformation, continuous improvement, research, policy, data and performance insights, to continually deliver value improvement and realise the vision and strategy of Lewisham Homes.
You will contribute to the formulation of companywide strategy and provide specific leadership in the focused area of remit in terms of direction, management, planning and long term ambitions of the organisation and as part of the Leadership Group you will help deliver the overall company vision and objectives.
You will need to work with colleagues from Board level to front–line and across sector partners so will need exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. You will also have experience of leading an adaptive PMO function, overseeing change portfolio backlog planning and delivery in a methodology that enables flow and continuous improvement within a framework of control, value realisation and governance.
You will develop and embed a lean business improvement framework covering process, culture, measurement and planning, ensuring the Business Improvement Team are a centre of excellence to build capacity and capability across the organisation.
You will also need to champion technology enabled business change harmonising efforts across technology, people, process and data and oversee a rolling programme of research and policy that leverages insights, experience and is evidence–based both to set organisational policy and influence the wider sector direction on social housing related issues.
Knowledge and skills required
It is essential that you have worked in a similar senior leadership role in a complex, high change, multi–stakeholder environment
You will have experience of leadership in a public service provider setting as well as a proven track record of capability building of high–performance change team
You will have demonstrable experience delivering large scale transformation and continuous improvement projects
You will also have successfully translated strategy into delivery through plans and resources and be an expert in data / performance strategy development and execution.
