Head of Transactional Finance

Household name based in Manchester City Centre have a new opportunity for a Head of Transactional Finance to lead their transactional finance teams.

Reporting into the Finance Director you will be tasked with leading the existing teams, improving processes and efficiencies in order to centralise and absorb work flow from other non– Manchester based offices.

Responsible for all service delivery across transnational finance
Promote a strong customer service ethos to support delivery to agreed SLAs with the business and finance teams.
Drive efficient, standardised, effective and systematic transactional processing
Develop high levels of performance amongst the team and encourage development to retain talent and support internal career development.
Ensure that there are appropriate financial controls in place and procedures developed to periodically check operation.
Operate a sound system of internal controls, ensuring that key risks are mitigated and that controls are operating effectively

Key skills preferred;

Experience gained working within fast moving and complex businesses.
A strong leader, experienced in leading and developing teams
Experience of successfully driving change within a finance function. Implementing new systems and evidence of improving processes and controls.
Ability to build relationships across the group.
