Associate Director of Performance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as Associate Director of Performance. The role involves working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and includes deputising when required. The role would suit an individual who enjoys working in a fast paced, demanding and highly flexible environment.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing performance management across the Trust to establish a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. You will work with operational teams and colleagues across the organisation and wider system to drive improved performance and ensure the organisation meets the required indicators. You will have a considerable degree of autonomy and be required to hold colleagues to account for the delivery of these standards.

We are looking for an individual with outstanding analytical skills with the ability to deliver meaningful information, to assess and pre–empt potential issues by interpreting subtle trends ensuring early identification of risks and mitigations.

There is a requirement to have a good understanding of the wider NHS agenda, with extensive experience in successful operational planning and performance management. You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of the Trust's strategic objectives.

You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage, negotiate and influence all levels of staff across the organisation, have the experience and ability to lead and manage a large team and be committed to personal and professional development.
