Group Financial Reporting Manager

Our client, a highly acquisitive £1 billion revenue, industry leading UK food business with significant investment and growth plans, supplies high quality meat products to retail, food-service and manufacturing customers across the UK, and to export customers across the globe.

Based at their North Yorks head office, this newly created role reports to the Head of Financial Control & Accounting. You will take the lead, with your 2 direct reports, in providing high quality technical expertise, and play a key role in delivering accurate, relevant and timely financial reporting information. This will require strong relationships to be developed across the wider finance teams and business. Much more info available on the detailed job spec but this should hopefully give you a feel.

We're looking for an ACA with an audit background and a few years' pqe, ideally acquired in a financial reporting role within a sizeable business; PLC experience advantageous. Alternatively, we would certainly consider the right individual coming straight from professional practice. Big 4 would be ideal; but just not too small.

The personal traits are the non-negotiables. A self-starter with strong communication and relationship building skills, and a positive attitude is what we seek.
