My client is scouting for an individual who is a 360 sales individual who can both win new business and manage an existing portfolio of businesses to a high standard.

This role will entail bid writing for high level proposals to companies who have expressed interest in additional learning courses for their staff. You will be accountable for strategy planning how you will proactively win new business as well as developing existing accounts.

Clients will be won through your own lead generation as well as responding to inbound enquiries and answering to proposal / tender opportunities.

There is scope for this role to be based remotely but travelling to the office when needed.

Responsibilities:

Market research and thoroughly understanding the sector you will be focusing on in order to have educated conversations on how you will benefit their business through additional training courses for their staff

Strategically planning on how you will grow your desk and existing pipeline of customers whether that be through new customers with a solution you know works or through improving an existing solution and gaging with your clients if there are other areas in the business that could benefit from additional training

Knowledge on your competition in the market and how you can become the best at what you do as well as understanding market trends and implementing new ideas in order to ensure your clients are getting up to date solutions

Consulting with customers from a HR Manager right up to the board of directors

Tendering for large–scale projects valuing up to GBP250k

Marketing yourself and the firm in an appropriate manner using mailing campaigns, twitter, linked in and any other beneficial platforms where you will see this improving performance as well as increasing the chances of businesses coming to you!

Working in line with the technical team in order to develop bespoke courses for clients who will need a keen eye for detail and want industry specific training.

Understanding positive & negative feedback from new, previous and existing clients in order to provide solutions in future that will work and only improve your relationships

Attending events and seminars for both you to learn new trends as well as for you to train others internally on your knowledge and expertise

Key Skills/Experience:

Essential:

Thorough understanding of educational and learning courses

Experience selling courses B2B through new lead generation

Experience account managing, again while working for an employer who provides educational solutions

Experience in bid writing and tendering for large contracts
