About Our Client

Our client is an entrepreneurial, high growth market leader in Groundworks for Housing Developers. The business is entering an exciting phase in their development and has recently taken the decision to the expand the operation and establish a business in Warrington.

As a result, there is a need to recruit a MD that will maximise the market opportunities

Job Description

Reporting to the Owner the key responsibilities will include

Developing and deploying a business strategy that ensures profitable growth and market penetration in Housing Groundworks.
Building a business that will ensure the business attracts, develops and retains key talent across commercial and operational functions
Managing commercial and service operations across the division, whilst taking full responsibility for P&L and reporting to the Owner.
Managing and building key relationships with new and existing clients and overseeing all major bids and contracts
Introducing new and creative approaches to business development and customer service that will significantly impact the growth and development of the business
Developing a culture for the business focussed on sales and customer service
Assessing and analysing new market opportunities that could further enhance the client and service portfolioThe Successful Applicant

Prospective candidates will be entrepreneurial in style, with a demonstrable track record of success operating in commercial leadership roles gained in either Groundworks or Housebuilding. Full P&L experience will be a pre requisite. Of equal importance are excellent leadership skills coupled with a strong commercial awareness that ensure the business attains high growth and maximises market opportunities
