This is a mid-level (3-6 years PQE) In House Construction Lawyer role for a nationally renowned developer with offices in Kent.
Client Details
Our Client is a well known property developer with offices in Kent.
Description
Contentious and/or non-contentious construction work including advising on procurement routes; drafting and negotiating industry standard contracts (JCT and NEC) and bespoke forms; reviewing and reporting on tenders, framework agreements, trade contracts, sub-contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, bonds/guarantees, novation agreements, other commercial agreements and legal documents as required.
Other legal issues, which may include but would not be limited to:
External legal assistance will be obtained as and when required.
Profile
The successful candidate is likely to be UK qualified lawyer with between 2 and 5 years of post qualification experience.
They will currently be working either in-house or, alternatively, in private practice at a top tier construction firm and will have expertise in either contentious or non-contentious construction, although due to the nature of the role the candidate will need to demonstrate a willingness to get involved different practice areas (commercial, corporate, commercial property and employment).
