Role Description
Job Title: Bid & Business Development Manager
Reports To: Managing Director
Location: Witham
Purpose of the job: Identify new business opportunities to generate new income for the company.
Company Overview: Texo DSI is a survey and inspection company that uses state of the art equipment from UAV's to handheld scanners to capture data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting all sectors Texo DSI operate in, which include O&G, Construction, Renewables, and Utilities.
* Develop and maintain a customer database to identify current customer requirements, while responding to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, or in–person
* Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
* Build and maintain an in–depth understanding of our services by working closely with our operational and technical managers
* Active monitoring of tender websites and portals to identify opportunities
* Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports Pull bids together with department heads
* Attend networking events and plan/conduct direct marketing activities to create leads for Texo DSI
* Delivering continuous improvement in bid materials and processes
* Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up with management
* Carry out market research, monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development
* Have the ability to quickly appreciate key client requirements and constraints from PQQ and ITT literature
Person Specification
* Communication Skills – Both written and verbal communication skills to effectively conduct your role
* Manage Performance – Creating a process and structure for managing performance and achieving the business goals
* Persuasive Communications – Identifying and presenting information or data that will have a strong influence

Salary will be dependant on the successful candidate experience, however, Texo DSI offers employees the following:
