Headquartered in northern Sweden, engcon is the world leading manufacturer of the tiltrotator, a "wrist" for excavators that allows the operator full flexibility, (tilt and rotate), for their attachments or buckets. To keep on expanding we are now looking for a motivated and growth–oriented General Manager who wants to be part of our fast–paced business journey.
Due to ambitious plans for expansion engcon is searching for an outstanding Head of UK Sales & Operations, ready to join at this exciting time of continuous growth. Working both remotely and from engcon's UK office in Tewkesbury, this is a unique opportunity for individuals who are determined to succeed. The main scope of the role is to take full responsibility for the engcon UK team and the acquisition and development of new "Blue Chip" customers.
Responsibilities:
?? Day–to–day management of the UK technical support and area sales team
?? Coach and mentor the UK technical support and area sales team to develop their performance
?? Profit and loss responsibility
?? Formulate, implement and execute the UK strategy to grow profitable sales, engaging with a variety of routes to market
?? Generate demand within major construction contractors and also earth–moving operators
?? Develop and enhance network of dealers
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Excellent commercial acumen and business management skills
Proven track record of delivering profitable growth
Ideally knowledge of the construction plant or commercial vehicle market
Technical sales ability
Able to develop business with new major customers at "C Suite" level
Experience of mentoring and coaching a team
Excellent initiative and able to work independently
Must be well presented, dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
Driving licenceBenefits of this Head of UK Sales & Operations – Construction Equipment role:
GBP55,000 – GBP70,000 base salary DOE, plus up to 25% bonus
