Cobham Mission Systems in Wimborne have an exciting opportunity for an In Service/Through Life Support Project Manager to join our Weapons Carriage and Release part of the business.

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage a number of CAT 3 and BAU projects and services to the agreed scope within planned quality, time and cost parameters to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for customer and stakeholder satisfaction. Motivating the whole team to deliver the business case and margins expected.

The role is focused around assisting in creating a better aftermarket / through life support product to our customers.

This role is based from Wimborne, Dorset.

We are able to offer flexible working arrangements, such as working remotely with attendance on site on an agreed basis as required.

As an In Service/Through Life Support Project Manager, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Qualified to deliver CAT 3 & BAU programs
Degree plus experience of managing projects including one throughout the full lifecycle.
Experience of managing in an Aerospace Aftermarket environment, with proven delivery track record.
Experience with through life support / in service support of a product
Strong knowledge of the functional disciplines and supply chain that require management
Knowledge and demonstrable experience of PPM techniques

As an In Service/Through Life Support Project Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:

Initiate & deliver programs and services to agreed time, cost, quality and benefits parameters
Direct motivate and provide leadership for the broader program team.
Organise, coordinate and direct the program activities.
Ensure effective and open communication throughout the program team and with stakeholders.
Lead the teams planning efforts and resolve resource conflicts across projects
Manage relationships with key customer personnel
Direct the supply chain for the whole program
Integrate the reporting for the program across all of the projects making best use of available PMO capabilities
Integrate the outputs from the projects turning the capabilities into the required outcomes for the stakeholders
