Business Development Manager – Self Build, North

To be based in Aberdeen or Inverness

This position is working for Scotframe, part of the Saint–Gobain group, global winners of the TOP EMPLOYER award for 5 consecutive years (Apply online only))

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with experience in the Timber Frame Industry and/or in the self–build industry to join our Scotframe Family. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and well established sales team and play a pivotal role in providing a first class service to our customers.

Your responsibilities will include...

Acting in a safe manner at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
Understanding and anticipating customer's needs to delight our customers and provide them with an exceptional service
Achieving sales targets / objectives as set out in the overall sales plan including sales conversion, margins and forecasting
Identifying potential new customers, and working to develop proposals that address the client's needs, concerns and objectives. Use a variety of styles to persuade and negotiate to achieve sales.What kind of person are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic individual who cares deeply about customers and is prepared to go the extra mile to deliver a fantastic experience for the customer

You must have experience in Sales / Estimating/Architectural Roles preferably within the Timber Frame Industry

A relevant degree level qualified or equivalent is desirable

The ability to identify and implement performance goals, priorities and recommend measures

Good business and commercial awareness – preferably gained from similar industry

Able to translate technical language into simple terms

Strong communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal

IT literate in systems relevant to role i.e. CRM, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, PowerPoint

Driving licence (as travel and overnight stays may be required)
