Transport Project Manager
As the Transport Project Manager, you will be working with stakeholders across the council. As well as private sector organisations, consultants, Highways England and Bus operators. With their support, you will lead in the delivery of a successful bid for major highway and transport schemes.
We are looking for gifted people, with working knowledge of the Five Case Model assurance process. To join an ambitious, creative and highly motivated team.
The successful candidate will be a highway and transport engineer and /or transport planner with experience of managing regeneration programmes and projects
Requirements of this position include:
* Proven ability to apply project management principles and techniques to a wide range of complex projects or programmes including financial management of projects.
* Excellent understanding of highway, transport and town centre regeneration principles and practices.
* Experience of leading pre–feasibility work, ranging from area–wide transport / economic and master planning to corridor investment strategies
* Ability to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
