Market leaders in their field, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to work at the company's head office near Towcester.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a ledger of existing accounts, identifying customers who could be scaled further and therefore maximising growth of sales. Working closely with rest of the sales team nationwide, you must have a collaborative working style and excellent communication skills. National travel will be required upon successful induction and training period.
The ability to build and develop trusting relationships with customers is essential as the successful candidate will be dealing with customers directly and working with other areas of the company where links with depot customers can assist in sales growth.
The ideal candidate:
* Self motivated, willingness to work within reasonable targets and expectations
* Willingness to and learn develop product knowledge and be flexible in duties required
* Previous BD experience within food industry (desired)
* Results focussed and commercially aware
