Position: Regional Business Development Director
Location: West Yorkshire
Term: Permanent
Remuneration: cGBP70K – GBP80K pa, Flexible Benefits & Car Allowance
Our Client is a World leading integrated Project and Programme Management Consultancy supporting a whole host of Construction projects across the Globe. Due to strong business growth they are looking to expand the team with an exceptional Regional Director who has significant Infrastructure experience, most notably for Rail & Highways projects, to take a lead position in their Yorkshire Transportation team. On offer to the successful candidate is a highly negotiable, albeit based on relevant experience, basic salary, together with a full flexible benefits package, to also include a car allowance.
Reporting to the responsible Director, your role will involve delivering and winning work with existing clients, including for a major Rail client, undertaking transformational regional projects along with growing their portfolio. You will play an integral part in developing and delivering the business plan for this rapidly expanding team. You'll be managing and planning resources, innovating and fostering a collaborative, professional and positive working environment along with delivering an appropriate role.
This role will be split between delivery, team leadership and business growth with the bias being growth and business development both externally and with key strategic partners, new clients and internally across the entire Group business. You will be specifically responsible for the delivery of major commissions and support the Director in recruiting high–calibre individuals that will deliver excellence to their clients. Additionally you will stimulate profitable growth for the team, act as a mentor to others and be able to drive the performance of the business forward.
Qualifications & Experience ideally required:
* Should ideally be Degree educated, although those with lesser qualifications and plenty of relevant experience will also be considered.
* You will be an accomplished Regional Director who is very strong commercially, with excellent Business Development skills and a good network.
* You will need to have proven Infrastructure experience, with a good understanding and experience in Rail, Highway & Transportation projects.
* You will need to be skilled in people Management in order to develop, nurture and manage the Transportation Team.
* Excellent communication, people and I.T. skills are a must.
* You will be flexible to travel.
