A leading global canning company has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join the business. This is a new opportunity that will require both UK and European travel. They offer an impressive salary with benefits that includes allowances/expenses, 12.5% Bonus Scheme, Life Cover, Mobile/laptop, 10% Contributory Pension.
Job Summary:
Provide engineering service to the business in line with the defined processes focusing on project management, manufacturing support and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities of the Manager:
Manage Projects through all Phases and Stages. Manage budget, time–line and scope as well as the needed resources
When requested by plant provide support to evaluate, improve the manufacturing process
Keep up to date on company Management systems and apply them
Be aware of engineering rules and standards. And implement accordingly
Travelling to sites throughout the UK and Europe
Set up structure using their standard documents and processes for execution
Close follow–up that resources are according to schedule and demand
Good communication with all stakeholders during the project
Actively check for best practice and best in class manufacturing processes and implement
Generate and implement improvement measures on our equipment and process
Evaluate and validate data. After analyses of data develop ideas to improve equipment or process
Requirements of the Manager:
Applicants must have experience in the Canning Industry
Degree qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experienced Project Manager who can manage the full process, which includes full install and Commission
Experienced manager of personnel on site – this includes sub–contractors
