Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Group Consolidations Manager.
The company:- Is an international telecommunications business with operations all over the Globe. It is at the cutting edge of innovation and proven technology in their field.
With years of experience providing network solutions across small private and public companies to large traded multi-national companies.
The Role:- You will have full ownership of the production of Financial Reports and Group management accounts. Leading the Group's multi-currency consolidation process, with eliminations and adjustments. Driving faster month close processes.
You will be responsible for the coordination of the financial operations of the shared service centre, regional offices and UK headquarters. Oversee and develop the group accounting policies and implement improvements of the accuracy of the SAP consolidation module.
Technical accounting advisory to the Group's Finance Community (IFRS). Review of monthly Balance sheet reconciliation, identification of weaknesses and driving best practice improvements. Key point of contact for auditors, with responsibility for smooth running of the group audit process. Transfer Pricing and Group Tax improvements will be all be part of this new role.
The person:- Will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be instrumental in delivering high quality Group Consolidated financial reporting.
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, you will have strong technical IFRS reporting skills, regulatory requirements and legislative framework experience. High level of creating professional level group reports, with strong analytical skills. This role requires a get involved, hands on approach with strong influencing skills at a senior management level, whilst achieving goals and deadlines. Working in a small team to achieve world class reporting standards.
A strong communicator/influencer, effective while working under pressure. Comfortable supporting ad hoc restructuring and efficiency projects.
(Strong SAP and advanced Excel skills)
