Financial Controller

Jennings Morton Friel Associates are pleased to working with a rapidly growing and entrepreneurial FMCG business based in North Kent who are looking to hire a Practice trained ACA/ACCA Financial Controller to join in a brand new role for the business.

The Financial Controller will join during a time of significant transition and growth. Reporting into the Finance Director and supervising a small team of 2 (One Qualified Accountant and one ‘Qualified by Experience’), the Financial Controller will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function including all financial, statutory and management reporting matters, alongside overseeing the group consolidation process, thus allowing the Finance Director to focus upon strategic decision making.

It is envisaged the Financial Controller will be Practice trained with 3-7 years PQE Accountant and possess a strong technical skill set, but wil have also worked more recently within a commercial environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who may be looking to gain their first Financial Controllership, from being a Financial Accountant but equally you may already be a Financial Controller and in need of a fresh and exciting challenge.
