The Accounts Payable Project Manager will report directly to the Finance Manager. This role is fast-paced and will require the role holder to manage 3 projects simultaneously.

- From an Accounts payable perspective, lead a project to move suppliers from paper based invoicing to EDI
- Constant liaison with internal IT department, EDI platform host, Suppliers and Accounts payable department
- Involvement of the AP team in testing
- Write procedure documents to cover training and processes
- Identify OCR platform
- Present findings and costings to key stakeholders
- Build a testing plan to ensure all aspects are tested before going live
- Involvement of the AP team in testing
- Write procedure documents to cover training and processes
- Identify best software option by reviewing offerings
- Present findings and costings to key stakeholders
- Run a project to fully test and eventually implement tool
- Involvement of the AP team in testing
- Write procedure documents to cover training and processes
- Have a project plan for each project with timelines and owners for each area
- Review on a constant basis with key stakeholders
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Strong Project Management experience
- EDI experience essential
- Self-motivated and take pride in completing tasks to the highest standard
- Detailed and methodical - Duties are completed in an accurate manner and irregularities are investigated
- Ability to multi task and switch between projects
- Strong time management with the ability to manage day to day priorities effectively and within tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, able to build a strong rapport with team’s key to the role
- Technologically proficient and able to make full use of technology and software to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Solid accounting knowledge
- Comfortable in a culture that embraces change and is fast moving
- Ability to demonstrate delivery of key projects
