Resourcery Group are working in partnership with a high growth, acquisitive Pharmaceutical business who are looking to recruit a hands-on Financial Controller/Deputy Finance Director to support the business through a period of rapid change, growth and transformation.
Working closely with the Finance Director and deputising for him 2 days a week, the Financial Controller will have full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility for a £40m t/o pharmaceutical business generating 20% EBITDA. Managing through a team of 6 in finance the Financial Controller will be responsible for:
The business is a undergoing a 'belt and braces' review in preparation for a listing on AIM in the next 2 years - implementing new systems (Microsoft Navision), implementing process and controls, restructuring finance, automating manual processes, bolting on acquisitions, post-acquisition integration.
Now is a fantastic time to join a business with ambitious organic and acquisitive plans prior a listing event. Such experience is so hard to come by and would suit a career focused Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking to build experience on their way to becoming a Finance Director. Our client, given the listing plan, would prefer an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (Big4, mid-tier and smaller practices all considered), with prior experience of operating as an SME Finance Manager or Financial Controller. Second time movers would also be considered.
This role is based from home as the head office is in London and the FD is based newar Chester. There will be occasional travel to head office as necessary. Being based near to Chester would be beneficial.

- Production of consolidated set of group accounts
- Oversee long-term cash flow forecasting model
- Production of management accounts
