We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Developer/Business Analyst to join an innovative transport and logistics company based in Romford. Supporting offices in the UK and globally, you will be working in a team who are at the forefront of a rapidly growing field...now is the time to join them!

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's application portfolio. This includes partnering with subject matter experts to design, develop, test and quality assure improvements to existing applications. The job function also provides ongoing monitoring and support for the application portfolio.

Key duties will include:

Identifying opportunities for improvement in existing applications and assisting in building business cases to justify business change
Liaising with subject matter experts to develop user stories and designs based on business input
Documenting new designs, as well as updating design documentation of existing applications as applicable
Performs application development activities
Preparing and executing test plans
Preparing training documents and providing application training where appropriate
Performing post–implementation evaluation of changes to identify improvements
Reporting on progress and issues

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Computer Science, Business Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent professional experience. 1 – 2 years' experience as a Full Stack Developer (e.g. HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, etc.) would also be an advantage, however, is not essential.

We welcome CVs from candidate's with strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, etc.) Due to the nature of the role, candidates must have the ability and confidence to interface directly with both users and technical teams.
